In 1999, Mike Lazaridis introduced the BlackBerry as a two-way pager. Today, it’s part of the landscape that includes the iPhone, the soon-to-be-introduced Palm Pre (PALM) and countless other smartphones, perched squarely at the intersection of PC and cellphone.
