I commend Eve Ensler for bringing this to light and raising awareness regarding the issue. My question for the technology sector is now that you KNOW about it, what are you going to DO about it? The thing is, Eve can offer some suggestions, but it is up to everyone to come up with the solutions. And particularly on the companies that are profiting off of RAPE! Here's the thing, you have the talent, the strategic thinkers to forward technology each and every day. The things you do is incredible! Which means you also need a CSR department, and if you don't have one, shame on you, to THINK strategically, to work with activists, NGOs and the government to work out some solutions. This is a huge problem, and it won't solve itself, nor by one person. But this is also on YOU! What are you going to do about it and how will you answer to your customers?
