It is somewhat sad to see Yahoo, the once proud king of search, falling on its knees crying for a Microsoft buyout. What is the actual game plan for the long rumored joint Yahoo/MSN search operation? How will these two minimal search engines become better or more popular and relevant as one? Can the senior exectives at these powerful tech firms learn to get along and actually work together with the goal of someday improving their search product?

Yahoo isn't the leader it once was. Companies mature and their lifetime value rises and falls. It is the nature of change.
